Through My Eyes.
"Our fingerprints never fade from the lives we touch."

I truly believe pictures are worth a thousand words. One day I plan on being a photo journalist. Photography is where my love's at. If my pictures make a difference in at least one person's life, that's when I know my dream is complete. Here are some inspiring pieces I find as I "tumble" around here. Oh, and my name is Emily.
Your loneliness now is monumentally better than your loneliness with a man in the house who has no intention of loving and serving you like Christ loved the church, no intention of pouring himself out for you and the lives and souls of your children…. Jesus is enough. Trust him when he says that. – Matt Chandler (via leteveningcome)

You’re exhausted in the faith because you’re looking at you. The more you look at yourself and the less you look at God, the more you get frustrated at yourself.

-Matt Chandler

People don’t like love they like that flittery flirty feeling. They don’t love love, love is sacrificial, love is ferocious, it’s not emotive. Our culture doesn’t love love, it loves the idea of love. It wants the emotion without paying anything for it. It’s ridiculous. – Matt Chandler (via kristinrankin)

I want to be everyone’s bandaid when I cannot even cover my own wounds. – Michelle K. (via xkittykendrax)
Do you know what your problem is? You can’t live with the idea that someone might leave. – Green, John. An Abundance of Katherines.  (via wordsnquotes)

I look at you, and I just love you, and it terrifies me. It terrifies me what I would do for you. – Alexandra Bracken, Never Fade (via larmoyante)
Everyone who shares their thoughts are brave individuals. It takes guts to let anyone, and everyone see inside your heart. We should never let anyone discourage us from our right to share. – William Chapman  (via moaka)
And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you.’ – Iain Thomas, I Wrote This For You  (via larmoyante)
I wonder if you know yet that you’ll leave me. That you are a child playing with matches and I have a paper body. You will meet a girl with a softer voice and stronger arms and she will not have violent secrets or an affection for red wine or eyes that never stay dry. You will fall into her bed and I’ll go back to spending Friday nights with boys who never learn my last name. I have chased off every fool who has tried to sleep beside me. You think it’s romantic to fuck the girl who writes poems about you. You think I’ll understand your sadness because I live inside my own. But I will show up at your door at 2 am, wild-eyed and sleepless. and try and find some semblance of peace in your breastbone. and you will not let me in. You will tell me to go home. – (via clementinevonradics)
